Principles and Practices of Agile Management

The training is intended for anyone who wants to understand and apply the principles of agile management in their organization and become catalysts for change and innovation. The course covers the key principles and practices that lead to organizational agility and successful response to a changing business environment. It provides tools and knowledge to improve organizational flexibility through complex adaptive systems, effective understanding of customer needs, and business process optimization. It emphasizes leadership, teamwork, and the cultural aspects of change, which are essential for the successful implementation of agile principles in any organization.
The training combines theory, practice, and experience, providing participants with the necessary knowledge and skills for the successful integration of agile approaches into their professional activities.

Course Objectives:

  • To understand the core principles and values of agile methodologies

  • To acquire methods and techniques for planning and managing projects within agile frameworks

  • To develop skills for creating functional and sustainable teams within the context of an agile work process

  • To enhance communication, collaboration and conflict resolution skills within agile teams

  • To apply practical agile tools and techniques in real business scenarios

Topics Covered in the Course:

  • Organizational Agility – core principles of Agile, adaptability, and innovation

  • Customer Focus – understanding needs, value, user experience, products, innovation

  • Processes and Ways of Working – Kaizen, Scrum, Lean, Kanban, visualization

  • Leadership – the role of the Agile leader, transformational and servant leadership

  • Teamwork – empowerment, self-management, organizational design, competence development

  • Planning – empirical work methods, hypotheses and validation, experimentation

  • Goal Setting and Measurement – goal commitment, metrics, and measurement challenges

  • Organizational Culture – communication, collaboration, continuous improvement, learning organization

  • Change – the leader as an agent and catalyst, motivation for change, and managing resistance

 

Acquired Skills:
Students/participants who successfully complete the course will gain:

  • Efficiency in applying agile principles for managing projects and tasks

  • Ability to adapt team processes to the dynamic requirements of the project

  • Skills in facilitating agile meetings and events such as stand-up meetings, sprint reviews, and sprint planning

  • Communication skills for effective interaction with stakeholders throughout the process

  • Development of strategies for continuous improvement and workflow optimization within the context of agile management
